The 27th International Chess Tournament in Memoriam of Grandmaster Carlos Torre Repetto is taking place from December 17 – 21, 2015, in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.

The Magistral tournament is a 9-round Swiss open tournament and gathers 113 players from 12 different countries.

Top seed is Cuban player GM Lazaro Bruzon Batista (2666).
