The European Individual Chess Championship 2017 will take place in Minsk, Belarus, from 29th May to 11th June 2017, in the Sports Palace, which will be the official venue of the Championship.
The event is organized by the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus, Minsk City Executive Committee and Belarus Chess Federation under the auspices of the ECU.
The total prize fund is a hefty 100 000 EUR and has attracted massive participation of 400 players including 171 GMs and 70 IMs, for a total of 315 titled players.
Live games from the European Individual Championship 2017 will be on Chessdom with computer analysis by the TCEC winners and medalists Komodo, Stockfish, and Houdini, as well as on Chess Arena phone application.
