Kulaots and Tsiganova lead Estonian Championships

The 2014 Estonian Chess Championships for men and women are being held from 28th April to 4th May in Tallinn, the capital and largest city of Estonia.

The Men’s Section is a 10 player round robin tournament, currently led by GM Kaido Kulaots with 5/6 points.

FM Ottomar Ladva is second with 4.5/6 points, while IM Tarvo Seeman and Roman Jezov share third place with 4/6 points each.

The tournament format in the Women’s Section is a 7 player round robin and WIM Monika Tsiganova leads with 3.5/4 points.

WCM Mai Narva is second with 3/4 points, while third place is shared in a 3-way tie by WCM Triin Narva, WFM Regina Narva and Karmen Viikmaa with 1.5/4 points each.
