Oliver Gonzalez Memorial – Day Five

Report by WGM Anna Rudolf

After two interesting rounds in the weekend group IM David Larino is currently the sole leader of the Oliver Gonzalez Memorial.

GM Oleg Korneev, Ivan Valdes and Sergio Adan follow him with 5 points out of six games, and so far so easy, but… the daily group still has a round to go before the two groups are united! And in the daily group we have the only person with perfect score, FM Angel Arribas, FM David Anton is on 4.5/5, and couple of players with 4/5.

GM Herminio Herraiz, whose interview we published not long ago, won his game against Erik Ronka

FM David Anton is the only one with 4.5 out of 5, but cannot be paired against the leader FM Angel Arribas because they both repeated white!
