VSK Gorenje and Beograd Beopublikum continue the race. Partizan surprisingly 4th

Partizan continues surprisingly strong as they beat favored Novosadski SK today with a clean 4-2. Underrated but experienced Grandmasters held their lines, while Greek GM Stelios Halkias and young Montenegrin IM Anto Rmus were the executors. VSK Gorenje is back on the winning track, SK ZTP fell 3.5-2.5. Legend Dragoljub Velimirovic signed his 4th win in a beautifully played queens endgame against GM Goran Todorovic. Beograd Beopublikum is breathing on Gorenje's neck as they whooped Agronom 4.5-1.5. Arkadij Naiditsch was pressing too hard with Black against unambitious Dragan Kosic, but this loss was compensated by his team-mates' 4 wins. Radnicki defeated Bora Kostic, the only decided game was between GM Barlov and IM Benkovic. Last placed Rad chopped one point off of BSK Gambit.

Each round in Women's League brings at least one surprise. The heroine was Snezana Zecevic who defeated so-far effective WFM Ljilja Drljevic for Zlatar's 2-2 vs BAS. Srem suffered disastrous 0-4 defeat at the hands of experienced Radnicki Rudovci. Spartak and Rad scored easy wins and the leading pack of four teams continues the chase for the title.
