The early beta of Chess Arena is now live

The early beta version of Chess Arena is now open to chess enthusiasts from all the world.

The Arena is a project that by this summer will incorporate the largest range of capabilities on the chess market, built especially by the needs and wants of chess players, clubs, and tournaments. However, today Chess Arena starts with minimal capabilities and functionality, as the technical team will need to see how the boards and pieces behave, to test high loads of players on the servers, and to see how the hardware structure responds.

During the month of signup for the beta tests, a total of 15 000 + chess fans registered for the Arena. As a big thank you for all the help and future testing, and to make the experience at the platform chess-friendly from the start, Chess Arena has prepared several surprises:

- During the Candidates Matches games a National Master, International Master, or a Grand Master will be available online daily . He/she will play games on under 5 minutes time control with automatic/random match making.

- 100 of the most active Chess Arena members will win prizes from the Chess Shop, including Chess DVDs, programs, books, etc.

- Based on number of games played, the most active players will receive free lessons with titled players.

Details about the master games and presents will be announced soon on Chessdom.com.

Signup for the Chess Arena today here and help us shape it according to your needs and wants. Take the opportunity to provide us with feedback about everything you think can be improved at the arena, along with all your ideas of what an outstanding chess arena must be like. We are sure that we will provide you with the best chess playing place online in a couple of months, but your input and feedback can make it even better.
