Werle, Turov and Solodovnichenko share first place in Oslo

Oslo Chess International 2014The 2014 Oslo Chess International tournament was held from 28th September to 5th October at the Thon Hotel Ullevaal Stadion, Sognsveien 77c, Oslo, Norway.

The GM-group gathered 44 players from 16 different countries (Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, India, Ireland, Italy, France, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine).

GM Jan Werle (NED), GM Maxim Turov (RUS) and GM Yuri Solodovnichenko (UKR) split the first place on 6,5/9 points each. According to the tournament rules, the winners shared the first three prizes equally, thus everyone of them took cash money in the amount of 1.000 €. You can see the full standings below.
