The 11th Open Internazionale Citta’ di Bergamo was organized by La Societa’ Scacchistica Bergamo and A.S.D. Antoniana on 13-15th July at the Palestra comunale “Angelini” in Bergamo, Italy.
182 players in three groups, Elite, Challenge and Rising, set the new participation record.
All groups were played as 6-round Swiss events. Top prizes in the Elite Group were EUR 1.000 / 600 / 400 / 200.
