The 12th edition of the Amantea Chess Festival is taking place on 7-14th September 2014 at Hotel “La Tonnara” in Amantea, an Italian town and tourist center on the southern Tyrrhenian Sea coast.
The event is a 9-round Swiss with a prize fund in the amount of 6.500 €.
Top seeded are Ukrainian GM Andrey Vovk (2625), Ukrainian GM Andrey Sumets (2618), Italian GM David Alberto (2548), Hungarian GM Csaba Horvath (2537), French GM Fabien Libiszewski (2531).
