The 14th edition of Malahide Millenium Tournament is taking place from 3rd to 5th May, 2014, at Hilton Dublin Airport Hotel, in Malahide, a coastal suburban town near the Irish capital Dublin.
The tournament will be a 6 round Swiss, split into 3 Sections – Senior (open to player rated over 1800), Intermediate (open to players rated between 1400 and 1799) and Junior (open to players rated below 1400).
The time control of all Sections will be 90 minutes per player plus 30 seconds per move starting from move 1.
The organizers provide prize fund in the amount of 3000 €, 700 € of which will be awarded to the winner of the Senior Section.
