114 boys and 59 girls are playing this week in the Serbian Youth Chess Championships 2021. The event takes place 3-9 May in Subotica and is one of the bright signs that chess is (finally!) going back to normal.
The event started this weekend with rapid and blitz games. Starting Monday is the main classical chess event, played over 9 rounds in the Swiss system. The participants are divided in boys and girls groups, each divided further into six age categories.

Chessdom.com is going to have detailed reports from the championship, as we are happy that #ChessIsBack!!!
