2015 Gelendzhik chess festival

The Gelendzhik chess festival will take place 3-13 January 2015 in Russia. The festival is organized by FM Salim Fazulyanov and includes a FIDE rated open tournament, a GM training camp with lecturers GM Boris Savchenko and GM Farukh Amonatov, a blitz tournament, puzzle solving competition, and multiple side events.

The Gelendzhik chess festival is continuation of previous events organized in Stavropol, Karachay-Cherkessia, and Krasnodar for a total of eight festivals in the past four years. The events are gaining popularity and the 2015 edition of the festival will be one of the top events of January for Eastern Europe.
