25th Belgrade International Open Championship – Round Four

The 25th Belgrade International Open Championship (Belgrade Trophy) takes place from 24th November to 2nd December in Obrenovac, near Belgrade.

The Championship with 198 participants will be played over 9 rounds according to the FIDE Swiss System and is valid for international norms for FIDE titles. The prize fund is 6000 EUR with 1500 EUR reserved for the winner.

Three players are currently leading with perfect score after four rounds. Among them is Marko Nenezic, the 16-years old wonder-boy with one GM norm from the International Championship of Central Serbia. Nenezic defeated GM Goran Todorovic and is matched against the 2nd-seeded GM Sipke Ernst for the Monday round.
