26th HIT Chess Open in Nova Gorica, Slovenia

The 26th edition of the HIT Open will take place from 16-22 September 2022 in Nova Gorica, Slovenia. The tournament will be played 2 sections: A (for players rated 1500+) and B (for players rated U1600), in 9 rounds, swiss system, with time control 90 minutes for the entire game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one.

The total prize fund of the event is 5560 euros, with 1.000 euros reserved for the Winner of the A tournament. GM Lorenzo Lodici, GM Francesco Sonis and GM Jesper Sondergaard Thybo will headline the field of the A section. Scroll down for starting rank list of players
