2700+ Bughouse Chess in Norway

The 10th Norway Chess concluded yesterday in Stavanger with Magnus Carlsen conquering the top of the event for the 4th consecutive time (and five times in total). The players today enjoyed the Garden Party having a short break before returning to the usual activities and preparations for the upcoming events: Grand Chess Tour Croatia 2022, 44th Chess Olympiad 2022 etc. They tried themselves in the bughouse chess – a popular chess variant played on two chessboards by four players in teams of two. Standard chess rules apply, except that captured pieces on one board are passed on to the teammate on the other board, who then has the option of putting these pieces on their board.
