The 36th Balaton – GM is a 10-player round-robin tournament taking place from 12-20 June 2018 in Balaton, Hungary. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one.

Tournament venue: Local Community Centre, 2-4 Kossuth Lajos u. 8638 Balatonlelle

Live games with analysis will be provided daily with the best chess software competing in the Top Chess Engine Championship – Komodo, Houdini, and Stockfish.
