5th Qualification Tournament of the World Online Amateur Championship

1st FIDE World Online Amateur Blitz Championship 2015The 5th Qualification Tournament of the 1st FIDE World Online Amateur Blitz Championship 2015 was held on 18th June on the official FIDE Online platform.

An impressive number of 142 participants from 43 countries competed in the 11-round Swiss event. The top represented countries are Italy, India, Poland, Greece, Russia, England, USA.

Top eight finishers from the event qualified for the semifinal tournament.

The Championship consists of 8 qualifier tournaments, a semifinal and a final tournament. A total prize fund of 4250 US Dollars is to be distributed among the winner, with the top prize being 1200 USD.

The 6th Qualification Tournament is set to take place on Thursday, 25th June, at 13:00 GMT/UTC time. The registration is already open on the official FIDE Online platform.
