The 6th HDBank Cup International Chess Open 2016 is set to take place from 8-13th March at the First Hotel, 18 Hoang Viet Str, Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.

The event is a 9-round Swiss open tournament with an average Elo rating of 2350.

Chinese player GM Wang Hao (2717) heads the field of 71 players from 12 different countries, including 15 GMs, 2 WGMs, 23 IMs, 2 WIMs, 10 FMs and 2 WFMs.
