6th Qualification Tournament of the World Online Amateur Championship

1st FIDE World Online Amateur Blitz Championship 2015The 6th Qualification Tournament of the 1st FIDE World Online Amateur Blitz Championship 2015 was held on 25th June on the official FIDE Online platform.

An impressive number of 112 participants from 38 countries competed in the 11-round Swiss event. The top represented countries are India, Italy, Philippines, United States, Brazil, Greece and Bangladesh.

Top eight finishers from the event qualified for the semifinal tournament.

The Championship consists of 8 qualifier tournaments, a semifinal and a final tournament. A total prize fund of 4250 US Dollars is to be distributed among the winners, with the top prize being 1200 USD.

The 7th Qualification Tournament is set to take place on Thursday, July 16th at 7:00 UTC/GMT. The registration is already open on the official FIDE Online platform.
