9th Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar

FIDE logoOn 17-18th and 24-25th September 2011, the 9th Internet based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held, organized by the North American Chess Federation, in cooperation with the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer of the seminar was IA Panagiotis Nikolopoulos (GRE), Chairman of the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and FIDE Lecturer, and assistant lecturer was IA/IO Sevan Muradian (USA), President of the North American Chess Association.

10 Arbiters from USA, Canada and Australia attended the seminar on Internet.

The Lectures were presented through a web-conferencing platform and included three sessions of 6 hours, while in the last session was the examination test, sent and returned by the participants via e-mail.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
