Aman Hambleton joins the commentators team of Chessdom.com

International master and GM norm holder Aman Hambleton is the new member of the Chessdom.com commentators team. He will be commenting the 2013 Tata Steel Chess together with GM Christian Bauer, GM Damian Lemos, and IM Miodrag Perunovic.

IM Aman Hambleton is one of the big hopes of Canadian chess. Hard working, and always aiming for quality in the games, IM Hambleton is on steady pace to success. His stellar rise in the past 12 months has attracted the attention of the chess community.

IM Hambleton completed his first IM norm at the World Junior Chess Championship, 2012. His second IM norm was for performance at the SPICE Cup Open, 2012. The young player completed his final IM norm and first 9-game GM norm for performance at the UNAM Open in Mexico, 2012, with 2618 performance. There he finished 3rd place (on tiebreaks) undefeated 7,0/9 with +2 =4 -0 vs. GMs.

Just for the sake of the game, IM Hambleton completed yet another (4th!) IM norm at Panama Open 2012.
