Balaton Nemzetközi Chess Festival

The 29th Balaton Nemzetközi Chess Festival is set to take place from 18th to 26th October at the Assembly Hall of Major’s Office, 8380 Hévíz, Hungary.

The Festival consists of 9-round Open tournament, Grandmaster round robin tournament and International master round robin tournament.

Hévíz is one of the most important resorts of health tourism in Hungary. The focal point of the spa is the unique thermal lake with its peat bottom and 4,4 hectares of surface area, the largest such lake in the world.
