Chess Festival “Lviv Tradition 2015”

LvivThe splendid city of Lviv, situated in western Ukraine, will be hosting numerous chess events, part of the “Lviv Tradition 2015” series.

The first stage took place from 27th January to 1st February, 2015. Replay the games here

Six new round-robin chess tournaments “Lviv tradition”, valid for IM, WGM and WIM norms will be organized in Hotel Nton  (Shevchenka str. 154 B, Lviv, Ukraine) with tempo of play 90′ + 30″. 

Tournament Director is GM Nazar Firman (UKR), while Chief Organizer is FA, IO Olexandr Prohorov (UKR).

System of play:
Grandmaster Tournament (GM-group) – GM,IM,WGM,WIM norms possible
10-12 players – round robin 9-11 rounds, or 6-7 players – double robin 10-12 rounds
International Master Tournament (IM-group) – IM,WGM,WIM norms possible
10-12 players – round robin 9-11 rounds, or 6-7 players – double robin 10-12 rounds
Rating Tournament ELO (FM-group)
10-12 players – round robin 9-11 rounds, or 6-7 players – double robin 10-12 rounds

Entry fee (include full board accommodation in double room + 3 meals):
GM-Group: Players above 2501: 200 €, 2401-2500: 300 €, 2301-2400: 350 €, Below 2300: 400 €
IM-Group: Players above 2351: 160 €, 2251-2350: 200 €, 2151-2250: 240 €, Below 2150: 280 €
FM-Group: Players above 2250: 130 €, 2249-2150: 140 €, 2149-2000: 150 €, Below 1999: 160 €
