GM Boris Chatalbashev

GM Boris Chatalbashev (2553) is a  Bulgarian GM, four times national champion for men.

As an active player Boris has won more than 30 tournaments in his career and has been a part of the Bulgarian Olympic Team.

He has been a successful trainer of the Bulgarian National Women’s Team for many years, including 2010, when the Bulgarian Olympic Team for women shared 3rd place at the Chess Olympiad in Khanty-Mansyisk, Russia.

In 2010 Boris joined the 2600+ ELO club, reaching his peak rating of 2613.

 

 

GM Davorin Kuljasevic (Croatia)

GM Davorin Kuljasevic (Croatia)

GM Davorin Kuljasevic (2546) is a Croatian GM, born 1986 in Zagreb, who lives in Rijeka, Croatia recently.

Davorin graduated from Texas Tech University with MS in Finance and has been an International Grandmaster since 2010.

He is an experienced coach and a winner of many tournaments: Castelfranco Veneto 2014,  Split Open 2013Mitropa Cup 2013 with the team of Croatia, Lubbock Spice Cup Spring 2011, Rijeka Open 2011, etc.

His peak rating was 2591 in September – December 2013.

WGM Iva Videnova

WGM Iva Videnova

IM/ WGM Iva Videnova (2398) is a Bulgarian player born 1987, three-peat Bulgarian champion for women (2014, 2013, 2012), ranked #69 in World’s Women TOP-100 rating list for March 2015.

Iva has been a part of the Bulgarian Olympic team for many years, wining the bronze medal on second board at the European Team Chess Championship for women 2011 in Porto Carras, Greece.

She is a graduated chess trainer with a Blachelor’s degree from the National Sports Academy in Sofia, a co-author of Chess Insider, regularly giving Master Challenges in the Chessdom Online Arena.

Iva’s successful performances include winning the following open tournaments: Zadar-B Open 2013Mediterranean Rapid Cup 2013Thracian Princess 2013Bansko Rapid Cup 2010.

IM/ WGM Irina Bulmaga (2381) is a 20 year-old player, born in the Moldavian capital Chisinau but living in Iasi, Romania recently.

Irina earned her WGM title in 2012 and the IM title just one year later. She has been representing Romania for many years, showing good results at European Team Championships and Olympiads.

Irina is studying Management at the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza University” and has many trophies behind, including Thracian princess 2008, Maria Albulet Memorial 2014. She has won numerous junior championships in classical chess, rapid and blitz.

GM Petar Arnaudov

GM Petar Arnaudov

GM Petar Arnaudov (2461) is a Bulgarian GM, part of the Bulgarian National European Team for men 2013.

Petar is an active player, who has played in Chess Clubs from many different countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, France, Macedonia, Turkey, etc.

He is an author of many publications in prestigious chess magazines: Chess Insider, Chessbase Magazine, New in Chess – Yearbook, etc,

He has played in 100+ tournaments, winning more than 12 of them. The latest successful events were Zagreb Open 2014 and Memorial Edoardo Crespi 2013, where Petar shared first place.

 

IM Spas Kozhuharov

IM Spas Kozhuharov

IM Spas Kozhuharov (2449) is a Bulgarian IM, many times Bulgarian champion for men with the team of “Lokomotiv – 2000” Plovdiv.

Spas is an active player, winner of many tournaments with a recent rating 2461.

His training abilities bring much of success to his students. The best of them WCM Victoria Radeva took the silver medal for girls under 10 at the World Youth Chess Championship in Caldas Novas, Brazil, 2011, under the auspices of Spas.

Spas is a regular player in Chessdom Arena Platform.

 

IM Nikolay Milchev

IM Nikolay Milchev

IM Nikolay Milchev (2393) is a Bulgarian IM, living in Dupnitsa, Bulgaria.

Niki is a winner of numerous tournaments, including French Bethune, Menton, Saint Affrique, Condom, Plancoet, Rennes and many others in Germany and Spain. He was also many time Bulgarian medalist for juniors.

He is an experienced trainer in a chess school in Bulgaria. Many of his students won medals in the national Junior Chess Championships.

Niki joined Chessdom Online Arena in October to deliver Master Challenges on a daily basis.

IM Velislav Kukov

Velislav Kukov (2377) is a Bulgarian IM, a Chairman and a trainer of Chess Club “Bogomil Andonov”, Kyustendil, Bulgaria.

Velislav is a constant player in the Chessdom Arena Platform, delivering free Master Challenges.

He is many times Bulgarian medalist for Juniors and a winner of the Bulgarian Individual Students Championship 2009.

He emerged clear winner in the 1st Old Capital Open 2013  and shared first place in the Grand Open Blagoevgrad 2013.
