Deutscher Schachpreis awarded to Chess Ticker in 2015

The “Chess Prize” aka “Deutscher Schachpreis” is the German Chess Federation highest award for outstanding contribution in the field of chess. For the first time ever it is awarded to two individuals – Mr Raymund Stolze and Mr Franz Jittenmeier – for their promotion of the game via the Chess Ticker website (http://www.chess-international.de/)

Franz Jittenmeier shared, “As operator of the website Chess Ticker I would like to say thank you to those who have voted for us the Extraordinary German Chess Federation Federal Congress in Leipzig. Also, I would like to thank the volunteer who who selflessly and regularly provide information to Chess Ticker. That’s why I think a special mention deserve: Andreas Albers, Uwe Bekemann, Ursula Hielscher, Niclas Huschenbeth, Andreas Jagodzinsky, Uwe Kersten, Julia Kirst, Jürgen Kohlstädt, Björn Lindstädt, Hartmut Metz, Thomas Marschner, Prof. Dr. Bruno Müller-Clostermann, Ralf Mulde, Rosemarie J. Pfortner, Thomas Richter, Thomas Rondio, Bernd Rosen, Carmen Voicu-Jagodzinsky, Regina Vossenkaul, Bernd Vökler and Christian Zickelbein. And this applies of course also for our partners the youth chess magazine “Schach”, the international website Chessdom, and “Schach Magazine 24″ ”
