Claudia Amura is new Argentinian Champion

argentina-flagThe 67th edition of Argentinian Individual Chess Champion for women took place from 1st to 9th May, 2014 at Villa Martelli, in San Isidro – a Municipality of Argentinian capital Buenos Aires.

The tournament was a 9 round Swiss with a time control 90 minutes per player plus 30 seconds per move, starting from move 1.

WGM Claudia Amura grabbed the title and 15 000$, collecting 7/9 points, leaving the runner up WIM Florencia Maria Fernandez half a point behind.

Third place was shared by WIM Zuriel Marisa and Maisa Nejansky with 6/9.
