Corrales and Naroditsky lead at the Main Section of the Philadelphia Open

The 7th Annual Philadelphia Open is being held over the Easter week from March 27-31, 2013, at the upscale, luxury Loews Philadelphia Hotel, rated Four Diamonds by AAA, 1200 Market Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

71 players are participating in the main section of the event, including 10 GMs and 8 IMs. The participants are fighting for the 7,000 USD first prize.

Cuban GM Fidel Corrales and American IM Daniel Naroditsky are leading the event after 5 rounds. They arrived to the fifth round with perfect scores and drew their game. Chessdom commentator IM Aman Hambleton is among the players in the chasing pack, with 4/5.

Last year winner was GM Magesh Panchanathan.
