The Czech Tour 2023 – summer festival includes four very strong tournaments in Czech Republic.

The first of them is V Prague International Chess Festival. This tournament will take place from 20 to 30 of June 2023. The 5th year of the Prague International Chess Festival will take place at the beginning of the summer at the Don Giovanni Hotel in Prague. In the Masters tournament, we can look forward to 10 top grandmasters, among them the winner of last year´s Masters tournament Pentala Harikrishna from India, best Czech player David Navara, chess legend Boris Gelfand from Israel and the winner of last year´s Challengers tournament Vincent Keymer from Germany. In addition to the traditional open grandmaster tournament where the winner will advance to Challengers next year, amateur chess players can choose a round robin rating tournament, which is a type of tournament that does not occur frequently. This edition will bring significantly increased number of side tournaments that will be counted for overall Grand Prix where best ranked players will be awarded unique prizes.
