The 5th Duncan Oxley Collegiate Tournament will be taking place on ICC on Sunday, November 4th. This is the individual online tournament that takes place every Fall.
All the rounds will take place in one day. There will be 5 rounds and the time control will be 15 minutes, with a 5 second increment.
The start time will be 2 p.m. EST (the clocks will be changing the day of the tournament, so those on the West coast will get an extra hour of sleep before the round starts).

As an incentive to the players this year, free entry will be given to the 2013 US Amateur Team South Tournament in Coral Springs, Florida, Feb. 15-17, to the 2 colleges that each have the highest 4 finishing players in the tournament (there must be a minimum of 4 players from a college to be eligible for this prize).
The 2nd place prize of these will be limited to those colleges that have no titled players participating.
Among the pre-registered players top seeded are GM Axel Bachmann, WGM Katerina Nemcova, IM Max Cornejo, WIM Daniela De la Parra and WIM Luciana Morales, all from The University of Texas at Brownsville.
