EICC 2015 with special prize fund for seniors

Jerusalem continues the preparation for the 2015 European Individual Championship. The top European competition, open to all members of European Federations, will be staged in hotel Ramada on February 23rd – March 8th 2015 by the municipality of Jerusalem and the Israeli Chess Federation under the auspices of the ECU.

This week the organizers issued special invitation for senior players. Those who were born before 31.12.65 may compete for generous prizes of 10.000 Euros in total, an unprecedented high category prize fund. First prize for the seniors will be 3000, second prize is 2500 eur, third prize is 2000 eur, fourth prize is 1500 eur, and fifth prize is 1000 eur.
