Favoriten Open 2013 in Austria

The Favoriten Chess Open 2013 is taking place from February 21st to March 21st on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Cafe Restaurant “Anningerblick”, Dr. Eberle Gasse 3 1100, Vienna, Austria.

It is a 7 round Swiss open with a time control of 2 hours for 40 moves plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game.

GM Nikolas Staunec is the rating favorite, followed by FM Georg Kilgus and FM Joachim Wallner.

The tournament winner will qualify for the state championships in Vienna in September 2013.
