FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Colombo, Sri Lanka

From 26 to 28 November 2014 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Colombo, Sri Lanka by the Sri Lanka Chess Federation in cooperation with the Commission for Women’s Chess and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue was the Royal College in Colombo.

The Lecturer was IA Franca Dapiran (ITA), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Luxman Wijesuriya (SRL).

The lectures were in English language.

Thirty six (36) Arbiters, sixteen (16) of whom female, all from Sri Lanka, attended the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters:
