FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Jerusalem, Israel

Official FIDE logoFrom 1 to 3 March 2015 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Jerusalem, Israel, by the Israel Chess Federation, under auspices of FIDE.

The lecturers were IA Almog Burstein (ISR), FIDE Lecturer and IA Ashot Vardapetyan (ARM), FIDE Lecturer. The assistant lecturers were IA Shlomo Kandelshine (ISR), IA Mordechai Shorek (ISR) and IA Abraham Dorner (ISR).

The venue of the Seminar was the Ramada Hotel in Jerusalem.

Sixteen (16) Arbiters from Israel participated in the Seminar.

All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
