FIDE Grand Prix Series 2014-2015: Participants

Official FIDE logoFIDE is announcing the calendar and participants for the FIDE Grand Prix Series 2014-2015, which will give qualification for the winner and second placed player to the next FIDE Candidates Tournament.

The Grand Prix Series will consist of four tournaments to be held over two years (2014-2015).

16 top players are selected in accordance to the Regulations. Each player will participate in 3 of these 4 tournaments.

Each tournament will have 12 players playing over a schedule of fourteen days.

Baku, 1-15th October 2014
Tashkent, 20th October to 3rd November 2014
Tbilisi, 14-28th February 2015
Khanty-Mansiysk, 13-27th May 2015
