FIDE Seminar for International Organizers in Larnaca, Cyprus

The FIDE Seminar for International Organizers will be organized by the FIDE Events Commission (EVE) and the Cyprus Chess Federation on 27 -29 April, 2014, in Larnaca, Cyprus.

The Seminar with the objective to educate and certify Organizers on an international basis will take place during the 1st Individual FIDE Zone (1.10) Championship 2014.

Subject: Successful Seminar attendees will grant a FIDE IO Norm necessary for the FIDE IO title application. Detailed International Organizers Titles Regulations here:



Schedule: Sunday, 27th April 16:00 to 19:00 Seminar (Part 1)
Monday , 28th April 16:00 to 19:00 Seminar (Part 2)
Tuesday, 29th April 16:00 to 19:00 Seminar (Part 3 – Exams)

Venue: The seminar will be held at the Cityhall of Larnaca.

Seminar Topics: General Tournaments’ Regulations – FIDE Events Regulations – Bid Procedure, Evaluation Criteria – FIDE Calendar Regulations – Events Management.

Seminar Fee: The seminar is FIDE supported and is free for the participants from the FIDE Zone 10.1 (European Small Nations)
