First Saturday Tournaments – April 2013

The April 2013 edition of the well-known First Saturday norm events are taking place on 6th – 16th April in Budapest, Hungary.

IO Nagy László organizes this event in order to give young players the chance to get GM/IM and FM norms. The tournaments are played on the first or second week of each month.

They use the single round-robin format with 10 or 12 players. The time control is 90 min for 40 moves, then 30 min/rest of the game + 30 sec. after each move.

One GM norm event, one IM norm event and two FM norms events have been organized this particular month. See full list of participants below.
