FM Kiril Kozionov claims Kolomenskaya versta 2014

The International Chess Tournament “Kolomenskaya versta” 2014 was held on 4-10th October 2014 in the ancient city of Kolomna, situated in the confluence of the Moscow and Oka Rivers in Russia.

The event was a 9-round Swiss FIDE Tournament, valid for IM norms.

Russian FM Kiril Kozionov won the event with 6,5/9, leaving the nearest followers half point behind. The winner fulfilled his IM norm playing at ELO performance 2472.

Second place was shared in a three-way tie by Ukrainian GM Mikhail Simantsev, FM Leonid Nozdrachev (Russia) and Denis Vorobjov (Russia) on 6 points each. You can see the full standings below.
