Genève International Chess Open

The 29th Genève International Chess Open will take place on 26-30th December at the Maison des Associations, Salle Gandhi, 15 Rue des Savoises, CH – 1205 Genève, Switzerland.

The Masters Tournament will be held over 7 rounds and open to players rated above 1800.

Top prizes in the Masters are 1st place 3’000.-, 2nd 2’000.-, 3 rd 1’500.-
Special categories : 1st Woman, 1st Senior, 1st Junior, Elo Categories.
Registration deadline : December 26st 2012 at 2 p.m
1st round : Wednesday 2012-12-26 at 3 p.m – 7th round : Sunday 2012-12-30 at 10 a.m

General Tournament will be held over 7 rounds and open to the players with an Elo FIDE or FSE lower than 1800.
Top prizes: 1st 800.-, 2nd 600.-, 3rd 400.-
