GM Alexander Ivanov wins 41st Eastern Open

sahThe 41st Annual Eastern Open was held from 26-29th December, 2014, at the Doubletree Hotel in Bethesda, Maryland, USA.

The tournament format was 7-round Swiss in five sections: Open (FIDE rated), U2200, U1900, U1600 and U1300.

The main Open section had 32 participants. GM Alexander Ivanov took a clear first place with 6,0/7 points to claim the top prize of 2000 USD.
