GM Christian Cruz wins 25th ITT Millonario de Navidad Bogotá Humana

Colombia flagThe 25th ITT Millonario de Navidad Bogotá Humana was an international chess tournament which took place from December 18th to December 22nd, 2015, at Centro Comercial Outlet Factory, in Bogota, Colombia.

The event was a 9-round Swiss FIDE open with tempo of play 90′ + 30″ and a total of 76 players from 10 different countries participated.

Peruvian GM Christian Cruz emerged a solo winner with 8/9 points and left the runner-up, his country-mate IM Deivy Vera Siguenas, half a point behind.

The third place was split by GM Omar Almeida Quintana from Cuba and FM Renato Terry from Peru at 7 points each.

The best female player was WGM Deysi Cori from Peru, who scored 6.5 points to claim the fifth place at the final ranking.
