GM Melor Bedia convincing at 11th SDS Gelendzhik Festival 2016

GelendzhikThe 11th Gelendzhik Chess Festival was held from January 4-12, 2016, in Gelendzhik, Russia.

The event was a 9-round Swiss FIDE tournament with the participation of 35 players from Azerbaijan and Russia.

GM Melor Bedia emerged a convincing winner with 8.5/9 points, leaving the runner-up one and a half points behind.

Martin Rolgeizer took the silver with 7 points, while Genrikh Rolgeizer and Georgy Sakhvadze tied for the third place with 6.5 points.
