GM Nebojsa Nikcevic stormed through Cetinje Open 2016

Grandmaster Nebojsa Nikcevic convincingly won the International Open Tournament Cetinje 2016 that was held from 4-10th May in Cetinje, Montenegro.

Despite being seeded 17th in the starting list, Nikcevic finished with 8,0/9 points, leaving the chasing pack point and a half behind.

The tournament was organized on the occasion of 10 years of Montenegro statehood in Cetinje – the city museum and old capital of Montenegro.

Jovan Milovic, Predrag Nikac and Vaso Petijevic qualified for the Montenegro Championship. Vlatko Savicevic from Kosovska Mitrovica, Serbia, earned IM norm.
