Goran Krastev dominant in 136th MGU Open 2015

The 136th MGU Open 2015 was held on 14-15th February, 2015, at Chess Club MGU, in Sofia, capital and largest city of Bulgaria.The event was organized by FA Dimitar Iliev under the auspices of the University of mining and geology “St Ivan Rilski” Sofia,  Chess Club “An Pasan” and “Zora” Trading Company in a 6-round Swiss FIDE format, open to all players rated below 2200 and it will be valid for FIDE and national rating.

Goran Krastev tied for the first with IM Petar Orev on 4,5/6 points each, but Hrastev took the trophy on a superior tie-break score.

Third place was split by Martin Metev and Moria Green after both players finished the tournament with 4 points.
