Grand Chess Tour Leuven LIVE!

The Belgium part of the Grand Chess Tour will take place in Leuven from 17-20 June. This is the second event of the 2016 Grand Chess Tour after the recently concluded rapid and blitz in Paris.

The participants in the 2016 Leuven Grand Chess Tour are Magnus Carlsen, Viswanathan Anand, Anish Giri, Fabiano Caruana, Vladimir Kramnik, Hikaru Nakamura, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Levon Aronian, Wesley So, and Veselin Topalov.

Do not forget to get your copy of all games of Carlsen and/or Karjakin in 2016 commented by Grandmasters

Just like in Paris, we will 9 rounds of rapid chess (25 minutes + 10 seconds a move) are played on the first 2 days, with wins worth 2 points. 18 rounds of blitz (5 + 2) follow on the final 2 days, with wins worth 1 point. Every round will be with computer analysis on Chessdom.com by the TCEC Season 9 participants Komodo, Stockfish, and Houdini.
