Grand Prix Romania – First Stage – LIVE

Romanian Grand Prix 2023 is back with an increased budget. Starting with 2023 Bucharest Grand Prix will take place in 6 of the most beautiful cities in Romania: Bucharest, Brașov, Timișoara, Arad, Cluj, and Alba Iulia. The first event is Bucharest Grand Prix, which is rapid chess tournament with time control of 15 minutes plus 5 seconds increment for each mvoe. The tournament will take place on 29-30 April 2023 and will have total prize fund of 30 000 EUR with 5 000 EUR guaranteed for the winner. More than 160 players will participate in Bucharest Grand Prix and the top five rated players are Ruslan Ponomariov, Alexander Motylev, Grigoriy Oparin, Alexey Sarana and Yuriy Kuzubov.
