Greece in the 2011 European Team Chess Championship

Greece, the hosting country of the 2011 European Team Chess Championship, has the players ready for the competition.

In the Open section Stelios Halkias, Ioannis Nikolaidis, Ioannis Papaioannou, Hristos Banikas and Dimitrios Mastrovasilis will play. Exact board order is yet to be decided.

In the Women tournament Greece will be represented by IM Yelena Dembo, WGM Anna-Maria Botsari, WGM Marina Makropoulou, WIM Ekaterini Fachiridou and WIM Ekaterini Pavlidou.

Head of the delegation is M. Kaloskampis. Coaches are GM Vasilios Kotronias and IM Nikolaos Gavrilakis.

Armenia, Germany, England, Iceland, Serbia, Montenegro are also announced on Chessdom. More teams will follow in the coming days.
