Happy birthday to a chess prodigy Nihal Sarin! We wish him a bright future and beautiful games on the chess board! 18-year-old Nihal Sarin is an Indian grandmaster who holds the 11th position on the live Junior rating list having a live rating of 2651.
Nihal achieved the title of Grandmaster at the age of 14 and became the fourth youngest player in history to cross the ELO rating mark of 2600 at the same age. In 2019, aged 15, Sarin had become the youngest Indian to play in the World Cup 2019 where he managed to reach the second round. Nihal Sarin will this month debut in the Chess Olympiad, competing on the first board of Indian B Olympiad team in Chennai.
