Happy 19th birthday to Alireza Firouzja!

Happy birthday to Alireza Firouzja! We wish him a bright future and beautiful games on the chess board! 19-year-old Firouzja is an Iranian-French grandmaster who holds the No3 position in the FIDE world chess rankings since May this year. Currently Alireza Firouzja is in Madrid where he competes in the FIDE Candidates Chess 2022. He started with a draw against Radjabov in round 1 (Replay game / Report R1 / Live blog ) and will now play against Richard Rapport in round 2 (Preview round 2 / Follow live)
