Igor Kovalenko and Ihor Samunenkov will play an experience vs youth match at The Marble Palace in Morshyn. Currently Igor Kovalenko is the highest rated Ukrainian player (Number 46 in the world), while Ihor Samunenkov is the highest rater Ukrainian junior player (Number 27 junior in the world).

The match will take place August 4 – August 8 and has the following schedule:
August 4 – August 7: 4 games of classical chess with time control 90′ (40 moves) + 30′ + 30”, starting at 14:00 local time
August 8: 4 games of rapid chess with time control 15’+10″ starting at 11:00 local time
IA Ivan Ilnytskyi will be the arbiter of the match, which will be valid for FIDE rating. Organizers are AZ Chess with coordinator GM Alexander Beliavsky.
