Igor Lysyj gives a simul to orphans of Sverdlovsk Region

23 orphans from boarding houses of Sverdlovsk Region took part in a simul given by 2014 Russian champion Igor Lysyj.

The event took place in Sila Voli mall in Ekaterinburg, and was organized by Svoi Deti charity fund, Sila Voli management, and Sverdlovsk Region Chess Federation sponsored by Penetron Russia group of companies.

The youngest simul participant was 6 years old. The simul lasted for about two hours. Igor Lysyj won 21 games and drew two, with Kostya Sibirtsev from Nizhny Tagil and Evgeny Rozhkov from Serov.

The former Russian champion gave his special prize for the most exciting game to Daniil Pakov from Ekateriburg.
